Elbi hydroaccumulators and expansion tanks ensure high hydraulic stability of the system, remove free oxygen from heating and air-conditioning systems, and protect against hydraulic shock. This allows circulation pumps, heat exchangers, and other main and auxiliary equipment to operate for a longer period without service interruptions.
The primary function of an expansion tank is to protect heating, ventilation, and similar systems from thermal expansion of the working medium. Elbi hydroaccumulators and diaphragm expansion tanks are available in a wide range of models.
The tanks are produced in vertical and horizontal designs and may also feature special round or oval shapes, which simplify installation. Elbi manufactures diaphragm expansion tanks (hydroaccumulators) with capacities ranging from 2 liters to 5000 liters. The operating temperature range is –10 °C to +110 °C.
