What MITA does

Full treatment of a settlement

Large rotating biodiscs Biorulli® treat the wastewater of an entire village, hromada or small town — where there is no central sewerage. Scale up to 2000 m³ per day.

Rotating-biodisc technology

Rotating biodiscs Biorulli® are submerged about 40% in the flow and rotate slowly — 1–5 rpm. The biofilm alternately oxidizes organics and takes up oxygen in the air: aerobic, without intensive aeration, no reagents or additives. Less energy and stable operation under variable load.

  • Biorulli® monoblock (M115/M200/M240) — rotor and tank as a set; discs Ø 1.15 / 2 / 2.4 m (fiberglass or stainless steel). Secondary biological oxidation of organics.
  • Biorulli® in concrete tanks (B200/B240/B290) — discs Ø 2 / 2.4 / 2.9 m for the larger scale of a settlement, up to 2000 m³/day.
  • Flowpack lamella settlers — clarification: they separate sludge from the treated water.

The configuration is assembled for the specific site and discharge standards.

When you need MITA scale

When the wastewater volume exceeds the capabilities of monoblocks and mid-size modular plants — a hromada, village, resort town or small town without centralized sewerage — MITA delivers a full-fledged municipal wastewater treatment plant up to 2000 m³ per day. The rotating biodiscs Biorulli® steadily handle the variable hydraulic load typical of settlements and resorts.

Mechanical preparation

Biological treatment (Biorulli®)

On slowly rotating biodiscs (1–5 rpm, ~40% submerged) the biofilm oxidizes organics — aerobically, without intensive aeration or reagents.

Clarification and discharge

Flowpack lamella settlers separate the sludge; the clarified water meets the standards for discharge to the environment.

What is the maximum scale?

What technology does MITA use?
