Kormotech is a well-known international company from Ukraine that manufactures a wide range of pet food products. Among its brands are widely recognized Opti Meal, Club 4 Paws, Gav, and Myau. Kormotech is a market leader in Ukraine by sales volume and ranks among the TOP 70 pet food manufacturers worldwide. The company’s product range includes approximately 650 items. All formulations are developed using proprietary technologies. Today, the company operates three large-scale pet food production plants. In recent years, Kormotech products have been purchased in 38 countries worldwide.
Kormotech approached the company “ZIKO” with a requirement for industrial water treatment for production purposes. Strict water quality requirements were set to ensure consistently high product quality, as part of the production is exported and requires complex international certification.
The company “ZIKO” designed a solution based on the existing water quality, taking into account the capacity of water supply sources, and developed an optimal technical solution for water filtration.
The solution provided by the company “ZIKO” includes:
- An industrial reverse osmosis system by Ecosoft, which produces highly purified water.
- Treated water mineralization stations that adjust the mineral composition according to specific production requirements.
- UkrKhimPlast plastic tanks with a capacity of 0.5 m³ to ensure continuous supply of treated water.
The company “ZIKO” regularly performs maintenance for this project, including membrane flushing for the reverse osmosis systems and adjustment of equipment settings. In addition, our service managers offer the option of entering into a long-term service agreement for ongoing maintenance.
